The Philadelphia Jr. Flyers Jr. B team, once again led by Coach Dave Dorman, skates in the very well respected Metropolitan Jr. B league. The Met league features 16 teams from Washington to Maine.
In the 2006-07 season, Dave led this first year team to an impressive 31-13 league record. This season, 2007-08, the 31-11 Jr Flyers have won their division, and finished 2nd overall in the league. They are currently playing in the Frozen Four Championships.
Coach Dorman’s goals are right in line with the Jr Flyers philosophy of advancing a player by upgrading their skills to compete at the next level. Dave is committed to advancing players to the next level. Whether it is for College, or just helping the players with their Hockey career decisions for post High School play, Dave is someone you can count on.
The Jr. Team plays an approximate 50 game league and Showcase schedule. Buses are supplied to all players for all road trips over 100 miles, Hotel rooms are provided to players for all overnight trips.
